As a Sr. Manager, Learning at ISACA, I lead a team of instructional designers and developers to create engaging and effective learning solutions for the global IT audit, governance, risk, and cybersecurity professionals. With more than ten years of experience in the hr and learning field, I have contributed to the design, development, and delivery of over 50 courses, webinars, and podcasts, reaching over 10,000 learners worldwide. I am passionate about applying the latest research and best practices in instructional design, adult learning, learner experience, and emerging technology to enhance the learning outcomes and satisfaction of our diverse and dynamic audience. I am also committed to advancing the learning culture and strategy of ISACA, by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging data and learner feedback, and supporting the continuous improvement and innovation of our learning portfolio.

With more than ten years of experience, Alysse Emken is an accomplished Senior Manager of Learning at ISACA. She has established herself as a dynamic leader with a strong skill set that includes learning program design and development, managing a matrixed team, strategic thinking, project management, and a positive attitude. Alysse’s experience includes a three-year stint at ISACA, where she proved her dedication and skill by rising from the position of Instructional Designer to Senior Manager of Learning. Earlier in her career at Maui Jim Sunglasses, she led employee onboarding, LMS management, eLearning development, product videos, and salesforce training. Alysse has worked on internal and external learning programs in sales, cybersecurity, technology, and retail product training. She prides herself on her commitment to lifelong learning through her current pursuit of a master’s degree in management with the University of Illinois.
